About Simmer
Simmer is a restaurant that presents itself as an inviting and versatile dining destination built around comfort, convenience, and a relaxed social atmosphere. With a reputation supported by strong guest feedback and a healthy number of reviews, it appears to have earned the confidence of diners who value both quality and consistency. The experience is shaped for people who want a place that feels easy to enjoy, whether they are stopping in for a quick meal, settling in for a longer conversation, or ordering food to enjoy elsewhere. Its style suggests a business that understands modern dining habits and aims to serve a broad range of preferences without losing its identity.
What makes Simmer appealing is the balance it strikes between casual comfort and thoughtful service. The setting is described as cozy and trendy, which indicates a space that is comfortable enough for everyday visits while still feeling current and appealing. That combination matters for guests who want a restaurant that can work equally well for lunch, dinner, or a late-night bite. The atmosphere also appears welcoming to a wide audience, including families, groups, solo diners, tourists, and people looking for a place that feels open and inclusive. This kind of broad appeal is often a sign of a restaurant that has built its concept around flexibility rather than a narrow dining format.
Simmer also seems to place a strong emphasis on convenience. Guests can choose from dine-in service, takeout, delivery, no-contact delivery, and onsite service options, making it easy for the restaurant to fit into different routines and needs. That level of accessibility is especially valuable for people with busy schedules or those who prefer a more streamlined dining experience. The presence of fast service further reinforces the impression that Simmer is designed for efficiency without sacrificing the quality of the meal or the overall experience.
The food and drink offerings suggest a menu with broad appeal and plenty of variety. With comfort food, healthy options, small plates, vegetarian choices, dessert, coffee, alcohol, beer, wine, and happy hour selections, Simmer seems to cater to different appetites and occasions. Guests looking for a full meal can find satisfying choices, while those who prefer lighter bites or a more social style of dining can still find something fitting. The inclusion of local specialty items adds a sense of place and character, giving the restaurant a connection to its community and helping it stand out from more generic dining spots.
Accessibility and hospitality also appear to be part of the restaurantβs identity. Wheelchair accessible entrance, parking, restroom, and seating options show attention to practical needs and a commitment to serving a wider range of guests comfortably. The availability of table service and a bar onsite adds to the sense that Simmer is more than a simple grab-and-go place; it is a space where people can settle in, enjoy the moment, and experience a complete meal or social outing.
Overall, Simmer comes across as a modern neighborhood restaurant with a flexible identity, approachable menu, and welcoming environment. It seems well suited for guests who want comfort, variety, and ease in one place. Whether someone is looking for a casual lunch, a relaxed dinner, a quick delivery order, or a place to gather with others, Simmer appears to offer a dependable and appealing option that fits many dining needs while maintaining a warm and contemporary feel.

I have to say this is the best broth in town, hands-down in their pho. You donβt even want to put Sriracha or hoisin in it. Itβs so good.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because the food was good. From the moment we walked in, me and my daughter we were not welcomed. They just said to sit anywhere. I watched several non black individuals walk in after us, they were greeted and even had a cheerfeul approach by the waiter. Our server obviously didnt want to serve us and had a very dull and very obvious attitude. We waited too long for her to take our order. I placed our menus down to signal we were ready, she still managed to have a whole conversation with one of the other staff members while we were waiting. She did not check on us during our meal. Everyone here seems really young and lacks the customer service quality. I will not be returning or recommending.

I hate giving bad reviews but Iβm not gonna lie. I visited today on the advice of a friend and got the barbecue pork spring rolls and the lemongrass chili chicken with noodles. Iβve never had lemongrass chicken with noodles like this before big bowl and the ratio of chicken into noodles and vegetables was not what I was expecting way more noodles and vegetables than chicken. The barbecue pork spring rolls were also the same way very little barbecue pork in the spring rolls. see attached photo. Also everything was bland. There was not much seasoning at all. The service was great. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the food left me wanting.

Might have been the best Pho I've ever had. Def looking forward to coming back. I got the P7 which was the pho with brisket, steak, meatball, and tendon. Broth was so good.

Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff to help you through the while process of picking and ordering your food. And all the food I had (spicy shrimp boil with the combo of sausage, potato, and corn, garlic noodles, and lemongrass muscles) was absolutely fire. Highest possible recommendation!
